The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation continues to execute dynamic fundraising campaigns to
help support USSA athletes as they strive to be Best in the World. Fundraising increased in all major
programs last year, including the USSA Gold Pass and annual Ski Balls. Thanks to the support of their
fellow Americans, USSA athletes won 17 medals at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
Foundation FY14 Highlights
• Increased fundraising to $6.2 million net to support athletic programs
• Sold out all 400 USSA Gold Passes raising $4 million net.

The 2014 season proved to be a banner year on and off the slopes! The athletes of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and
U.S. Freeskiing brought home 17 medals including a record eight gold during the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Off the slopes,
the USSA Gold Pass sold out for the first time in the program’s history and raised $4 million net for athletic funding.

Gold Pass holders experience unlimited skiing and snowboarding to over 250 resorts across the United States with direct-to-
lift access at most resorts. This fully transferrable pass can be shared with anyone including family, friends and clients.
Contributions from the Gold Pass program allow athletes to train with the best support staff, compete at top competitions
around the globe and access the highest-level sport science and medicine.
