Through the new Club Development program, the USSA is focusing on assisting member clubs as they
strive to improve the USSA experience for all participants - athletes, parents, volunteers and administrators. Sustained athletic success and the health of the sports are dependent on member clubs. Clubs
recruit, retain and develop young people who acquire, refine and finally master skills essential to success
as competitors and individuals.
Guided by a Best Principle and Practice model that has been peer-reviewed across athletic, educational, business and nonprofit sectors both nationally and internationally, the services and resources offered
by the club development program will support all clubs operating in all USSA sports. By employing best
principles and practices clubs of all shapes and sizes will ensure that the resources available to them are
being used to create the best experience and results possible for all involved.
