2017 ASPEN WORLD CUP FINALS
Building on the success of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, the top ski racers in the world will once again return to
the USA for the 2017 FIS World Cup finals. The event will take place March 15-19 in the iconic mountain town of Aspen. It is the
first time the U.S. has hosted world cup finals since 1997.
2017 NORDIC JUNIOR WORLDS
The USSA, the Utah Olympic Park and Solider Hollow will host the best junior cross country, ski jumping and nordic combined
athletes for the 2017 FIS Nordic Junior World Championships and FIS U23 World Cross Country Championships. The Utah Olympic
Park in Park City, UT and Soldier Hollow in Midway, UT have a long history of hosting international and domestic competitions,
including the nordic events for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The Junior Worlds has been held only once previously in America,
on the Olympic venues of Lake Placid in 1986. It’s the first time in the USA for the U23 Championships.
2019 FREESTYLE, FREESKIING AND SNOWBOARDING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Two world-class resorts, Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain, along with the town of Park City, will welcome the world to Utah
for the 2019 FIS Freestyle, Freeskiing and Snowboarding World Championships. As an popular winter destination and home of the
USSA, the community has hosted events for a half century and continues to boast progression and innovation in winter sports. With
10 days of competition, the USSA has already secured over 20 hours of live TV for the event.
