Sochi Olympic costs.
HOW USSA RAISES MONEY
Unlike many rival nations, there is no government support of U.S. ski and snowboard athletes.
This makes the importance of corporate sponsorship, private giving from individuals through the
foundation, USOC support, and membership so significant.
The primary sources of funding are sponsorships and foundation fundraising.
In comparison with FY14, sponsorship revenue increased by 5.5% and foundation fundraising
increased by 11.2%.
